Why do we have countries today that have become hopeless?

Why are we seeing big companies crumbling down before our eyes?

Why are we seeing fourteen-year-olds holding guns and consuming drugs?

Where did it all go wrong?

You see… it all comes down to leadership.

There are many leaders who have no leadership position.

There are many elected leaders, who are not in themselves, leaders.

“When we talk about leadership, we talk of something core to society and life.”

We have so many arguments on whether leaders are born or made.

But I tell you;

Leaders are not born.

Leaders are not chosen.

Leaders wake up and decide to lead.

A choice not to whine about problems but to find solutions.

A choice not to be served but to serve.

“Whether you are born with the qualities, or they have been taught to you, you still need to make a choice.”

And the million-dollar question is, are you a leader?

Among the many identified qualities of good leadership, great leaders show qualities of;

• Courage

• Empathy

• Confidence

• Integrity

• Accountability

• Humility

• Transparency

• Trustworthy

• Impartial

• Courteous

Organizations don’t elect random people into leadership positions. They elect people who are already displaying leadership qualities.

To make it more clear:

A. There are leaders,

B. And then there are leadership positions.

People choose to be leaders, organizations place those leaders into positions.

That’s why you shouldn’t wait to be elected, start now!

Be a leader!
